'We eat it within the week so I only shop for fresh produce a week at a time.' The mum begins by soaking her produce in a mixture of mostly cold water and a splash of white vinegar. She then lets them soak for twenty minutes and gently stirs the water every few minutes. Lastly, she drains and dries all of the produce with a kitchen towel. 'The key is to make sure the fruit is completely dry,' she said. The mum then shared how she stored the fruit and vegetables to keep them from going off.
